Fresh flowers always do the trick, and it doesn't hurt when they're your favorites. Bring those peonies home from the store and arrange them in your finest vase, I prefer a low vintage Haeger given to me years ago as a birthday gift.

First of which, is the peacefulness of home. My home is my haven and I like to fill it with that which pleases me and brings me comfort. I draw inspiration from others' tranquil spaces, or from charming scenes in magazines, blogs and catalogues.
